Custom Emotes in GW2
Let's have a group /highfive /clap /cheer /roar! Custom emotes have been confirmed for GW2 (though they were originally not on the menu). 
Eric Flannum was the first to confirm their inclusion...
"Custom emotes were not on our intended feature list but Habib, the coder responsible for our emotes added them in (because he's cool like that)." |
Now all we need is a /hiphiphooray emote for Habib (oh and the GW2 release date would be nice too :D)!
As an update to this, at the EU fanday in April 2012, Eric Flannum declared...
"There will be no rank emotes, such as the deer, tiger etc. for Guild Wars 2. There are no special emotes for PvP. We've got a couple of emotes that we haven't revealed yet. By and large there will not be any kind of special emotes just for PvP or just for one particular kind of gameplay or the other." |
