Second Guild Wars Novel - Edge of Destiny

To tide us over while we wait for the Guild Wars 2 release date to be announced, the second novel in the three-part Guild Wars series, "Edge of Destiny", has been released! (The first Guild Wars Novel, "Ghosts of Ascalon", was released July 27, 2010. A release date for the third book, titled "Sea of Sorrows" and written by Ree Soesbee, has yet to be announced.)

Written by award-winning fantasy author J. Robert King, "Edge of Destiny" takes place before the events of the first novel "Ghosts of Ascalon", about five years before the events of Guild Wars 2. It's the epic tale of six heroic adventurers as they dare to challenge the power of an Elder Dragon.

They come together to form "Destiny's Edge", one of the mightiest groups of heroes in Tyria, to fight for their people. These are the characters you will meet in the game from almost the very start, and this is the story of who they were, how they got together, and what happened next.
