Asura | Guild Wars 2 Race
The fifth and final playable race in Guild Wars 2, the Asura are a race of diminutive geniuses who punch well above their weight. Arguably the most intelligent race in the GW2 world, their research, experiments and inventions make them a mighty force to be reckoned with. 
Starting next week is Asura Week and there's a whole lot to look forward to :
- Monday : Matthew Barrett, the key concept artist responsible for the look of the asura, writes on asura character design. As an added bonus, Jeff Grubb contributes an asura short story!
- Tuesday : Matthew Barrett writes about asura environmental design, taking a closer look at Asura props and architecture. There's also the launch of the new Asura advice column "Hey, Bookah!", which will provide smart asura answers to stupid (bookah) questions.
- Wednesday : Angel McCoy gives some audio examples of typical asura chatter.
- Thursday : Lead Animator Heron Prior writes about the unique Asura animations, and shows some video examples. Jeff Grubb will reveal some new lore, with a brand new Asura feature video and a load of new wallpapers and screenshots to download.
- Friday : Ree Soesbee explores the world of the asura through fiction (She's writing the third guild Wars novel
 ).
