Play Guild Wars 2 at San Diego Comic-Con
It's going to be a busy weekend for the Guild Wars 2 dev team at their booth at the San Diego Comic-con. For those who are lucky enough to be there, make your way to the NCSoft booth #5345 as there's lots of cool stuff happening that's sure to make the non-attendee GW2 fans green with envy!First off there's a meet and greet on Thursday the 21st July but as there are only limited tickets to this it's advisable to get in early and grab your place. There's a twist though! If you want one of these prized tickets you'll have to be 21 or older and you'll need to discover the secret code word to utter at the booth (HINT: Watch this twitter feed). It's well worth the effort as you'll not only get to have a few drinks and nibbles while mingling with the GW2 developers and artists but you'll get to play Guild Wars 2 on the Alienware rigs! On top of that you'll also have a chance to win an assortment of cool prizes from NVidia and Razer.On Thursday and Friday, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM and then on Sunday, from 11:00 AM. to 12:30 PM, there's a limited giveaway of the Guild Wars 2 2011 Postcard Collection with signing by the various Guild Wars 2 artists. This is one not to be missed, with Kekai Kotaki, Kristen Perry, Matt Barrett and Katy Hargrove all available to sign your postcards.On Saturday, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, a panel of ArenaNet devs and artists will be in Room 23 ABC to answer all your questions. They'll be giving GW2 fans a deeper understanding of Guild Wars 2 and how it's re-thinking MMO conventions. Entitled "Rethinking the Online RPG: How Guild Wars 2 Explores New Dimensions in Social Gaming", it's sure to be popular so, again, be early if you want a seat.Even if you don't have a ticket to Comic-Con you can still join the fun with giveaways and activities from July 21-24 courtesy of the Alienware Mobile LAN Tour at Petco Park. Look for the big customized H1 Hummer at the D1/D2 parking lot as it's packed with Alienware PCs for you to play Guild Wars 2 on. Cya there!
