Creating and Customizing the Sylvari in Guild Wars 2
One of the great things about the Guild Wars 2 character creation process is that there are so many customization options for all the different parts of the body. There's no excuse for not having a unique character in GW2, just take a little time and make YOUR character perfect!
Changes can be made to the body height and physique, skin color, hair styles and color, face details such as eyes and eyebrows, and you can even customize your character's ears! Each race will also have unique ways of customizing their appearance. Added to this there's are several options for customizing each individual piece of your armor. Upper, shoulders, lower, gloves and footwear are all dyable in a multitude of different colors.
The video below is from the Guild Wars 2 demo at gamescom 2011. It shows the male Sylvari customization process from 3:25 to 5:04, then the female Sylvari customization process from 5:05 to 7:23. (Preceded by the Charr opening cinematic from 1:19 to 3:24)
